I've decided to try my hand at the style of Kevin Manthei, who did the music for [Invader ZIM]. If you haven't heard it, [go here] to hear a few of the tracks used in the show. More info on IZ: [TV Tome - Invader ZIM] [Room With a Moose & GIR] [The Amazing Invader ZIM Website] So anyway, my takes on this. Third and forth actually, but first forum releases. [release 1] [release 2] Is there anyone who knows of a good, free, reliable source for industrial, sci-fi, and orchestral samples and loops? Because I want to try and get this style down as much as possible, thus it's those genres I need sounds from. Please?

noce music there! like the music with all the effects and the orchestra! kinda messy.. but its prolly supposed to be like that.. keep it up! and.. uhm.. i think there is a post somwhere on this forum that says where to get samples.. just to look throug all the sites.. gl!

There are a couple of out-bits in "release 2" that I noticed, but if you saw the cartoon, you'd see how it all fits.

Yup, he's jumped down to the cow.

"Hi cow!!"

He pulled that mexican hat out of his head. He's got enough room in there. Trust me.

And... And now it's on the cow's head. That's great, GIR.

ZIM: GIR! Get in here!
That cow looks quite facinated by its reflection on GIR's shiny metal butt.

"Bye cow!"

So GIR gets pulled back up, and the cow is released. Love that mexican hat.

ZIM: No playing with the dirty cow monsters, GIR! This is serious work we do.

GIR: Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooh.

ZIM: We'll switch. You man the tractor beam! I'll pump the cows full of human sewage.

GIR: Cows are my frieeennndss.

Yeah, pretty creepy thing to hear, really. What would you say to that?

"I don't like you."

ZIM: The controls, GIR.
GIR: Yeeeeeeeeoooooh!

Heh, look at Zim's goggles. I want a pair!

"Once I've tainted the human's meat supply with filth, they will be right for conquest. Soon the name of Invader ZIM will be synonymous with DOOKIE!

"GIR! Bring me cow...!"

"Yes sir!"
So obedient!

"I like dookie!"
Uh, then again...

ZIM: Sometimes I'm afraid to find out what's going on inside that insane head of yours.

Looks like GIR sees cows!

He does! He does see... hey, wait a minute...

What the hell's happening to those cows?

Weenies? Did those cows just turn into weenies?

WEENIES: Dance with us, GIR! Dance with us into oblivion!

As you can see, it's one hell of a strange show, but heck it's funny. The music is supposed to be strange and creepy-like, as it fits the show quite well.

[Sample Sites] in "Help and Support", I know. But, I mean, c`mon. Seriously. ALL those sites?

Naw, much easier to ask. Especially on a 31kbps modem. o_O

I got tired looking at all those pics... But congrats on getting the longest post in MT forum history award, looking at pixels used... Seriously dude, how about posting a link to a video instead?

That's what I was originally going to do, post a link to an excerpt of that episode. Of course though, every video editor I've used crashes when it comes to that clip. Screenshots were the next best thing.

Here, a different clip. The first minute of "FBI Warning of Doom". I tried getting something from "GIR Goes Crazy and Stuff", but as said, none of the video editors like it.
