 |
As you may have noticed, I added a link to the Google page that offers various links to people who wish to donate or just be informed about the recent disaster that hit Asia and the east of Africa.
I am not directly concerned by the disaster, but I kind of felt sick when I saw some pictures of it on TV (especially the many-digits numbers) while having dinner on the 1st of January.
Also, I know I would feel very bad if I would loss let alone the MT sources. But these people lost everything...
I wanted to do something good to start 2005. So I donated the money I received with the Christmas offer to the Red Cross. That way, thoose who registered in that period and me made a nice thing.
I also hope I can pass the word to you - with this message and the link I put on the main page and the forum.

That's something great you did !
One of my friends was in Pukhet when the Tidal wave hit the island, but don't worry, she's OK. |

Great thing that the madtracker comunity can help these poor people by a great iniative started by Yannick!
As you mentioned, all your earnings made by the cristmas offer will go to those that need it the most there in azia
I'm glad I'm one of the donators now, since I used that offer to get my registraion, and beleave me, I realy wanted yannick to get all that money, because of all the work he invest in "our" program, it is a full time job for him.
So all my respect for this man,
But I beleave this seems to be an even better investment (sorry yannick )
