[2.5.0 RC5] Bug "XM Format" Effect

Hello,

I listened my module XM with "MadTracker 2.50 RC5" but the effect '30A' sounds bad in my module "DUNE.XM" !

Please download & listen my music with FT2 or WinAMP to listen the difference :

http://vizion.madtracker.net/DUNE.XM

Pattern : 07
Note : G#4 2 22 30A (first note)

Thank you for fixing this bug...

Greetings,

I haven't listened to your tune, but I'm sure this would be better described as a incompability issue rather than a bug.

For example, FT2 did not handle Amiga Protracker Modules 100% correct, even though it's based on that format.

Hi C-Frog,

Yes, I understand now... I tested my official module XM and the option "Amiga Freq.-Table" is enabled.

So, MadTracker 2 uses the option "Linear Freq.-Table" as default... All the modules XM which uses the option "Amiga Freq.-Table" aren't played correctly...

Yannick : Can you improve a best compatibility with "Amiga Freq.-Table" in the next version ? Please don't forget that people (me for example) would like to use their old module XM and improved its to MT2 with MadTracker 2 Wink

Thank you,

ViZiON
