Rewire doesn't work with me. when I select rewire in the audio tab I get these errors:
"Cannot load rewire divice (error code 107)" and
"Cannot load rewire divice (error code 5)"
what does this mean? Am I doing something wrong? I use tracktion as the rewire host.

Did you run Tracktion first then MadTracker? When you run MadTracker after the ReWire host, it should go in ReWire mode automatically.
Also, do you have other versions of MT on your HD? And are you using the pro version of ReWire? (I.e. is the Master track accessible in the ReWire host?)

first I run tracktion then madtracker. madtracker now tries to run in rewire mode but it can't. I get the error.
RC5 is the only version on my hd, and I use the pro version.
Do I have to download something for tracktion to make rewire work? I have the registered version.
Tracktion says it can't find any rewire device. I have the madtracker folder in the vst's folder with the rewire enabled

Ah ok. Then follow these steps:
- Open the Registry Editor: Start menu -> Run... -> regedit
- Go in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE folder.
- Check that it contains the folder named "Propellerhead Software". If not, right-click on SOFTWARE -> New -> Key and rename the new key accordingly.
- A folder named "ReWire" should exist in the "Propellerhead Software" folder. If not, create it too.
- Inside the "ReWire" folder should be a list of all the ReWire synth applications. If you can't find a "MadTracker" folder, create one.
- Select the "MadTracker" folder. On the right pane, you should see a "Device Path" value which points to your ReWire.mtx extension. If it doesn't exist, right-click on the right pane and select New -> String value. Rename that value "Device Path", then double click on it to specify the full path to your ReWire.mtx extension (such as C:\Program Files\MadTracker\Extensions\ReWire.mtx).
Restart both host and MadTracker.

i got a simular problem
Error while reciving transport (110)
Error while sending data request (110)
This comes up in cubase sx 2.2.0 after a while when playing or recording.
Is it becaus i dont run madtracker at the same time as cubase? That would be strange because i have not activated mt2.5 in devices. However its an other rewire problem. |

I got the same problem, I can't even work in cubase anymore due to this, but I'd guess there will be a fix for this soon. |
