Since the source ports support MP3, you actually can have a Chainsong within that game. |

Yeah, and Doom III supports Ogg-format .. I'm seriously thinking of try to learn how to master the map editor/designer of Doom III ... In that one you can add elements of audio which is played both all the time in the background and in different parts of the map.
The most interesting part, I think, is actually to do the sound design

Edit: This is QUITE off topic! Sorry about that |

NON: I would urge you NOT to do anything with this version as it is severely bugged and many parts sound very unlike (worse than) the original composers wanted it to. Factor will correct his mistakes and upload a new version and announce it here. |

Congratulations will come later. First the polishing:
I'm pretty sure that the sawsynth (track 25) in Walter Vos' part is too loud (pattern 3c/40 and further).

That's odd Inge. Since In my part of the chain I never use track 25, and also didn't use that saw sample (instrument13)
Also I compared the track volume settings and instrument volume settings and they are the same as in souleye's part.

Well, then the drums are too soft, there was another part where an (i think the same) sawsynth was used, and this was one for sure way too loud. Scared me. |
what is hip?

The master volume doesn't work proportional with all different track volumes for some reason. Most noticable with the sawsynth in this case, but also valid with the other instruments.
Just change the master volume while playing the song and you will hear the effect immediately!
Maybe it's a bug in MadTracker? |
