Hmmm, i'm feeling extremely frustrated now.
RC1 worked perfectly fine, but RC2 keeps locking up.
I currently have an AudigyZS2 soundcard as the wave playback, and a crappy old old crystal soundfusion for midi input - this all works fine until i enabled midi, mt2 locks up.
I've tested this on renoise, reason and various other programs and dont run into any problems at all. It just seems to be Mt2.
Was something changed in rc2 that would cause this?

Have you tried using RC5 with the Fix-Patch?
I mean, y`know, you're all the way back there with RC2, so your problem might've been fixed along the way. |

Oops, did i say RC2? I meant RC5
I always keep right up to date.
twos and fives can always look similar after a few cans of stella.....
RC1 worked fine, RC5 - as soon as I enable midi, gadunk, it locks up....
Rc2! lol what am i like?????! |

I just got a midi keyboard myself, and madtracker locks up when using the keys for play and stop and stuff too often it seems. maybe i just shouldn't press play and stop that much and fast (i was fucking around  ), but it has happened on more occasions.
Also, after once setting the synchronization thingie to something else, i have to change it every time i start up madtracker to get my midi keyboard to work. doesn't matter to what i change it, but i have to do this everytime. |

I know, it seems strange that the keyboard works fine in the other programs, the ones without heart and soul but not MT I'm afraid.
Ill put the soundcard back in again and see if altering the stop and start midi keys helps....
