Actually, Ive not yet to bring this album to the status of the other two, but the first listne of discovery was for me not what it became.... so im giving time. but, there is a bass sound that was used in Ginuwines 'pony' song, they use that on two tracks, its not a new sound, but a good one. Actually I was suprised that i bought the ginuwine singles, but like it that daft punk picked up on the sound (cause they've been very influential to me) but thought it was to late and to much. Sad to say... I dont think this album is what i expected from daft punk. But i do like alot of that LCD soundsystem cd.. |

Sounds cool. Which ones do you consider as being the best ?

The Ceremony mix of course!
Seriously, listen to them all and see which ones you like, it's so hard to recommend one over the other.
If you like what you hear, have a look around http://c8.com/
and http://c8.com/c8/phpBB2/
and of course http://widerstand.org

Ive had a listen to a few of these, and it seems they are like being at a club, when your smashed out of your brains, unable to appreciate the actual music because the amount of beer and chemicals are totally screwing up your delicate ear mechanism - but being completley stone cold sober!
has anyone told these guys their stuff is clipping, just a little bit??! Surely cracking up the gain like that just hides the imperfections of the actual productions? no? I can get a crap track and boost it to death, then it sounds marginally better - bizzare!
I shall try and write something along those lines, i figure, all i have to do is crack all the samples up to 256 volume, then put the distort on full whack, the send a few things to a nice reverb.
bob will be my uncle.
bob on!
oh no, am i being awkward again hehehheh!
i rememberd why i stopped talking in these forums, i just create bother!
cheers!

after hearing the retail leak well over a month ago i got depressed. in fact it almost made me cry. daft punk have been heroes of mine for years. how they could take crap and turn it into gold was (is) a great inspiration to me. this album is -shit- but at least, as the title implies, they're aware of it themselves ('human after all' in this context seems to beg the interpretation 'we sold out').
however, even though daft punk seems dead, you can't stop da funk.
ps: kudos on the derail, nicely done. |

I haven't heard the album yet, but what I have heard, I must say I like. Go, Robot Rock!
Judging by the reactions it's getting, though... Maybe it's a sort of musical satire? |
