is MadTracker the best tracker software? |

Greetings
My first post as a newbie here..
Nice forum and great community you have here!
As a newbie to tracking software, and before I start learning and using one, I would like to ask: what is the differences between madtracker and fasttracker 2, or actually any other tracker software? is madtracker better?
what are the advantages? I apologize if this has been discussed before, and kindly ask for a link to such discussions.
Also any links to other independant reviews would be appreciated..

The opinions you may get here about MadTracker will ofcourse be a bit biased. 
Just try it and see for yourself.
There are quite a few differences between FT2 and MT2. You'll find a list of features here that you can compare with what you know of FT2.

Well, compared to Fasttracker, Madtracker is lightyears ahead with it's VST support, rewire support, automation, channel labels, midi support etc. Like Yannick said, best is to try it yourself |

I agree with mech, you'd struggle to find a better community. in terms of wether or not mt2 is -the- best that all depends on your needs and planned use of a tracker. if you're simply talking e-penis mt2 pwns ft2. I consider myself a fairly advanced user and it has taken me several years to reach a point where I feel the program is somewhat limiting me. I highly reccomend you start learning it. |
