 |
Hi there
I just downloaded an well sounding vocoder vst plugin - http://www.project-hurricane.de/robocoder.htm . After installing it by simply moving the the proper files into the vst plugin dir, i can do what i want and fail to get any sound out.
Can you confirm this? |

Confirmed. I also don't understand how this plugin works. You load wavefiles into it, which should be processed by the effect (I think). It nevertheless is an effect (not an instrument), and it therefore is extremely vague what it does to the track that it is assigned too.
Idea: maybe it should be a vst instrument instead of an effect, but madtracker recognizes it incorrectly?

1. Load some song
2. Load the Robocoder plugin
3. Create a MT instrument and assign the plugin to it (it's not automatic because the vocoder is an effect)
4. Type notes from C-2 to B-2 (one note per word)
5. You'll have to re-load the WAV files in the plugin (at least I had to)
6. Play
That should work.

Excellent! Pity about the shareware limitations (volume droppings at random moments) of the plugin though
