Where to go

Hi!

Today I got an inspiration while being at work. After coming home, having dinner with my family, bringing my little one to bed and some cuddling with my wife I finally sat down at my 'puter and hacked it into MT. Problem now is, I lost some parts of it. I just got the intro together, the rest slipped my mind. So, what now? Maybe you can give me a hint, where to go with this. Thanks for listening. Oh, and if your hint is like "Dump that piece of crap", feel free to just say so Wink.

Regards

Well, I definitely wouldn't dump it if I were you. Can't tell you where to go though, if your inspiration was really strong it will come back to you probably. I sometimes write stuff down. When I came up with a cool bassline i simply write something like this:

........-
...............-
............................-
-.....................-

(edit: had to put in dots, otherwise all the hyphons were in the same place)

Also I remember one time coming home from work by train, I had a really cool melody in my head, but I still had to walk for 30 minutes or so, what I did was just force myself to keep it in my head the whole way. Got home, went straight to my computer, and figured the melody out. Then went to sleep, and worked on the song the next day. You have the basis of the song now, I'm sure you'll find some way to finish it.

what is hip?

Its a keeper! As far as I can tell, there seems to be room for some brighter sounds.

Looking forward to the final version Smile

Thanks for the feedback so far. I'll keep the song and see if I can do something for it later.
