Hi

This one doesnt work for me. I guess you are exploring stuff - and there is some interesting use of white noise and all, but as a song this one is IMO not one of your better songs. Theres a lack of "flow" that I find unapealing, too much chopping of the sounds. But it may very well be that I dont understand what youre doing.

There are some echoed synth sounds in there that I really like, I would have whished to hear more of them.

Your stuff is even on a bad day still pretty damn good, and as always the craftmanship shows. So I would not discourage anyone from downloading and listening Smile

Freaking wicked! Don't know if I liked it that much either, but very interesting for sure. There were a couple of times I was worried my speakers were broken or there was something wrong with my soundcard or something Mr. Green

what is hip?

If the popstar dances well, sings correctly even without Autotune and looks like this :

Is it OK too ?

Besides this your remix of Clarkson's song is quite experimental . I like it but I wonder if it would be something the mainstream medias would like. However, if you allow me to do it, I'll pass the link to a DJ I know who likes experimental mixes of popstar's songs.

Question : If I would send you the 1st single the girl shown above will soon record, would you accept to remix it so that both the original and your remix could be included on her debut single ?

Yup. Definately digging it, and posted it on my website.

As mentioned in this thread: if you would make this one a bit more straight forward (less 'artistic' white noise stuff; definately keep it, but put less focus on it) with some stronger role for the melodies (and a rock solid bass line!), then this would definately rock dancefloors nation (world?) wide.

Yep, on the originality score of remixes this one goes to the top. But I have to agree with what most say here. There's just too much static and white noise thingies going on here. It kills the listenability of this song Sad Strip the first 1.5 minutes and the last 3 minutes, add those fx that you had there into the middle of the song as subtle background elements (not main elements) and it could work better imo.

NO WAIT

I have to agree with Inge on both having a more melodical feel (as I like to put it) and a rock solid bass line.

Name as mentioned above Wink
