hello everyone. i'm pretty much new at this lovely tracking thing. i've been practicing for a while and wanted some expert hand to check my stuff. i would like someone to tell me the goods and bads, and everything i could do to make stuff sound better. this is just some incomplete improvisation so many patterns may sound out of place. don't worry i just want some technical advice.
thank you very much for reading.

pd: some of you will find out where i got the voice samples from... Laughing sorry i just have a few and had to seach my computer for some.

Well first of all, you done a good thing, which is Practise Wink

This song is a very good first atempt I have to admit, I haven't heard such a good track from a newbee in while
(no offence Wink)

You seem to have the gift of making somthing straight out of your head, meaning, you know what your doing, which is ofc a good thing.

Use of effects is good, never saw someone deliver a first track whith such use of effects and quality

Ok Regarding the song then:

+theme is nice
+the piano part is ok but more can be achieved on that part, maybe later in the song, but as a good middle part it would be good aswell
+vocals are nicely picked and they fit in nicely

-work on that dark string on track 5 espechialy the cut at patern 15-16 is a no go, athleast make a fade out there
-the vst instrument 04 played on track 6 is cool, but.. don't use it the entire track use more of such cool sounds
-work on your structure a bit, add some hihat crashes to make the breaks more intence, work on your drums intrudicing some breaks

Overall,

A very nice first atempt whith... a lot of potential in it Wink

Keep, going, keep practising, experience is a very big factor in composing music, You have done a terific job on your first atempt, Learn from other tracks, ask any question you want on these boards and I'm sure you will make some cool shit soon Wink

I'm sure you will suprise me on your next track

Kind regards,

Factor

well first of all thank you very much Factor for reviewing my track, and thank you for your encouragement, since afeter some practise i was wondering if i should dedicate to something else than tracking, (like studying) Laughing .i really apreciate that. i should as soon as i can put in practise everything you've told me.
regarding the structure i posted that many of the patterns may seem out of place since i just improvised this and made separate themes and never even tried to connect them correctly. but yours is a good advice anyway.
Yes, i learned a lot from "madtrackers" since i downloaded many of u guys tunes. and in many ocassions even copy your techniques (not your style hehe, just techniques). just love to see how much originality you find when people write just for the love of it.
well i'll just keep on practising and see what comes up next. hope u understood my english.
