Ohmi: are all your other problems also solved with this release? If I remember it correctly, you suffered from some weird bugs inside Millennium / 98se.

Good memory! My current OS is a fresh Windows XP with SP2 and MT2.5 is stable so far, except that my machine (amd athlon 650mhz, 640mb ram) clearly can't respond to some vst's required processing power and freezes when trying out most of the supplied demosongs for example. I'll need to do more research on which vst's work and which don't. I don't have Windows ME installed anymore so I can't really tell anymore if this release would work with such configuration. Perhaps I could test that later if I have time to install ME again into some spare harddrive. I can get back to this topic if something buggy occurs when I have the time to test this version properly. Can't do it right now 'cos I'm a bit busy with work atm. |

Ohmi: thanks for the feedback! There's no need to rush about anything. If you have any bugs, do mention them so that they can be sorted out. Then again: if it works, then just enjoy your working installation!

After Inge was so nice to mess with my MT2-install wave export is borked. I've downloaded the new .mtx and .dat just now and it still doesn't work.

Edit: Yannick fixed it. Leaving post here so Inge can witness the kind of mental trauma he imposes on me. |

Greetings all,
I also updated to v2.5, downloaded the required files however, the wave export feature remains greyed out. I have read subject matter pertaining to this, but it did not aid in resolving the problem - Yannick, HELP!!!
UPDATE: Disregard the preveous message, as I figured out what I didn't do...well, you know, insert the right files! Silly me! Thanks anyway to all who responded. |

Hahaha! I installed my own reg files on your laptop, then removed them later on, probably leaving your installation a bit, er, confused.
Good to hear that everything works again though. Now get the EP out there!

Wave export fixed. but about one half of the demo songs freeze up the computer.
I deleted them and have had no problems since.
Lots of old stuff works.
I have no idea why the demo's wouldn't work

Click on the "?" -> "About MadTracker..." menu. You should see "Registered version" and your name in the About box
OK!
You should see "Wave Export 2.x" in the "?" -> "Extensions" submenu.
OK!
In "File" -> "Parameters...", you should see your name as "Creator"
OK!
In "File" -> "Export", the "Wave..." should be available.
Wave export remains greyd out. |

Today. I downloaded files for 2.5.0.
Yeasterday there wasn´t all files available - just .dat file.
I installed mt2.5.0 several times and did all the tricks I can. (thats not much , but everything really SHOULD work now... ) |
