Learned some valuable lessons here, thanx to all the kind and very usefull (some brutal Laughing ) feedbacks!

I've remixed "situation" from yazoo. (yup another Yazoo track Wink ) ..

And again, feedback would be very appreciated ...

about the tune of the vocal Wink : Great! Razz

No realy, this is way better then the other track, the only thing I find a bit lacking is the rhythm section. Sure there is lots of stuff happening in the mix but I miss a punch of the kick and an total groove. Maby you can give the kick some more volume and program a simple bass line to go with it ( with this style a simple bass sound on every 2nd 8th note will do wonders! ).

Anywayz, keep up the good work ur surely improving!

Thanx Raymond , i will experiment with your feedback, i've mannaged to get the tune stuff right this time Laughing, so the rythm section should be okay in a few ...

Yep, definetly a step in the right direction. Like Raymond said, the only thing really missing is a punchy groovy rythmsection. Replacing the sloppy subbass kick (that's what it sounds like at least) with one that has more punch, more going on around 80-120 Hz would probably do a lot already. Keep it up! Smile

Thanx Sunbuster, i will try to change the pitch of the basekick (it's a vst)..
I will also work on the bassline to get some more drive in als raymond adviced ....
