It's not really techno, I'd say. It touches upon electroclash, although it has some distinct techno vibes in itself. You might like Miss Kittin's latest album, which is full of these hybrids.

It's not directly my cup of tea. It's interesting due to its variations, but it's a bit too much variation, and a lack of the typical techno'ish repetitive feeling that comforts and gives this technovibeiwannadancetoitoruseexcessiveamountsofdrugs vibe.

thnx qb!

about the highhat (and the song in general), i've made it in a couple of hours, so i will definitely still go to work on the mix and mastering.

inge: not techno? some kind of hybrid? even better! about it having too much variation... i'll probably still change the arrangement a little here and there. make some changes more smooth, and some more sudden Wink

thnx so far, i'd still like to hear from more people though. i can ask my friends, but usually all they can tell me is 'me like', or 'me no like'. Razz

Hi

Definetly agree about the highat - also I thought you used to much compression or something - you kinda lose some of the drive of it when the levelmeter is hitting the roof constantly.

Other than that I really liked it. Its interesting, with some nice unexpected variations which worked really well in my oppinion. Great stuff!

Smile
