Hi
I've downloaded the musiclab realguitar demo.

There are two problems concerning madtracker :
MT 2.5 often crashes when i try to load the steel fingered guitar samples.

There are noises similar to the noises of old LPs.

Can anyone help?
Thanks.

I havenīt tried the demo, but sometimes they put hiss-noises and other unwanted sounds in vsti-demos to make the demo unusefull for full productions.

Edit:
Quote:
Demo version limitations:
demo version will work for 14 days after installation
demo version is limited to only one of eight available guitar patches.

Hmmm, the website doesnīt say anything about unwanted noises.
Maybe the demo crashes because only one patch is available and not the patch with the steel fingered guitar samples.

hello,
the steel fingered guitar is the only possibility in the demo version.
sometimes i can load the samples, sometimes mt2.5 crashes.
the hisses are not like the "sounds" some companies put into their demo versions. is it possible that i have to change buffer levels or something else?
thanks

Wrong bufferlevels or lack of CPU-power usually produces a stuttering sound instead of hiss-noises.

You can also try Realguitar as a standalone module. If these hiss-noises and crashes also occur in the standalone version, than the problem is caused by Realguitar itself or your computer or both.

Can you give the downloadlocation of the version that you have problems with, so that we can try to reproduce the problem?

I found out it' s not a madtracker problem.
I guess it's my system/soundcard-driver. To prove this, it would be very kind of you if you download the realguitar demo and tell me about your experience. Thanks a lot.

Just tried it. Works like a charm. Occassional clicks, but that's probably due to internal samples 'crashing' into each other. As you said, it's probably your setup.

The demo works fine here. Only one guitar style is available but that's the demo limitations.

Question : Is there a free VST guitar simulator out there that has the same quality as this one has ? Because it's $159 price is a bit high for me...
