I'll let her know. Could you give me a serie of links to your songs (mp3 or ogg) so that I can make her hear some of your stuff ?

Best regards, TNK

ok....

i will record something soon and show you the diff.\\

:edit again:
ok.. here is 'the difference'
http://soundsofcalgary.madtracker.net/mymusic/thedifference.mp3

the first part is preformance mic with no preamp and no audigy,

the second part is the first part with noise reduction

the third is a raw recording of preamp, audigy and studio mic.

sorry. i dont have my headphones so i basically had to use only my crappy laptop speakers to judge what it sounded like.

Damn, where is the file? I am quite currious about the different as well.

Apparently, I am currently using a Boss ME30 guitar effect box with a guitar-amp simulation. That's the only preamp I got, and I believe that isn't quite right for best results. But I am not going to invest in a Behringer tube if I can avoid it...

This is in combination with my el-guitar, which is utterly crap: J&D, something "no nameish". Smile
