I posted that one too some time ago. It's a great documentary and definately worth the time of looking. Thanks for the Amen-one. I was unaware of it, but will check it out this afternoon.

Interesting!

Last monday we had a seminar about the creative commons licensing system in our school. One of the people who spoke there was Neil Leyton of Fading Ways records and he more or less used the exact same words about cultural progress being tied down by extreme copyright laws as that last quote in this video.

( If you want more info about creative commons and how to licence your work under it, go to http://www.creativecommons.org )

i watched it start to finish, he had some really interesting points towards the end. He does have a pretty dull voice though... but definately worth watching.

yeah, well I don't know if you need to watch that much. Wasn't it more or less a record spinning on a turntable all the time? But playing it in the background worked fine Smile

Great documentations. I especially enjoyed the one about the 303. The Amen one was interesting too since it covered a lot of aspects about sampling. Smile
