Im just going to hope this is all enough untill a larger format writeable than DVD comes out and is affordable.

1.6 Terabyte and 50+ years of life expectancy enough for that purpose?

Souleye,
the 'remixed/recoverd' files needed some work to sound decent, like reloading drum samples. I actually used one of these as a pt2 to a song on one of my albums, it was sort of like a remix of the warped tune, just similar enough to be noticable, especially if you name it pt2. when i finally get around to updating my site, ill make sure its up, and point you to it.

From the article:
Quote:
Holographic data storage is superior to existing disc and hard drive technologies, and is also competitive against tape technologies in capacities and transfer rate. In addition, it offers a 50+ year media archive life and random data access. Finally, the media is expected to have the lowest cost per gigabyte of any commercial quality removable storage.

Should therefore be acceptable, I assume. But then again: it's future technology, so it will be disappointing, dreadfully expensive, incompatible with what not more and cumbersome at first. Gotta love it.
