Here's some info.

The first initial version of POWER OF FROST was bad. But the melodies I've made up didn't suck too much, and i've made a remake. I've changed the samles, and so on... BTW the song is metallish so if u hate heavy music forget it. POF is my FIRST song made in my life! So, check it out.

First of all Vile, I know you don't mean to offend anyone, but editing the word SUCKS in your poll there just baffles me. Seriously. If the word had been FÜCKS, then I would understand, but....
As for your first track ever there, I'm still downloading it at a whopping 900 bytes/sec. I'll get back to you on that tomorrow I guess.

Well, it's my second track...
The first one was on the XnmE's topic.(it SUX so forget it.)

As for the speed, narod.ru is a popular rssian hosting for pages, not FILES =)

(P.S. If u want I can post original POWER OF FROST version...)

oh I found your other link. cool song. A bit repetitive, but I like repetitive. There seems to be a little bit of static coming near the beginning of the song... is that intentional or is it a problem with my setup?

Okay I just listened to your track. I have found that I enjoy it much more with the following modifications:
- decrease instrument #3 volume to about 50 instead of 80
- double snare (instrument #6) and bass drum (instrument #7, 1st sample) volume
- double or 1.5x volume on all guitar samples

with them slight changes, I quite enjoy your song!
Of course I would recommend some distortion on instrument #3, and I played with that too, with good results IMO.

I meant the synth. Hihat is on track 5.

There is also a very strange "switch" with the snare, in patterns 04-07 you use instrument 07 as snare, then the rest of the song is instrument 06 (which doesn't sound very great really).

BTW there was 13 songs made for my first release, they all used the same samples(nearly), I can upload 2 of them if anyone wants... BTW they're bad, but maybe worth to learn what could replace Power Of Frost... Smile
