I don't know if this is a bug or not:
If you save a song as startup module, I suppose the song will be opened everytime you start mt2 again? but if you want to make a new song and you click on "file", "new -> madtracker module", the startup module only gets reloaded again? |

Yes, that's the point of the startup module. If you really want to get something empty, do a "delete everything" from the Edit menu.
Or delete the Default.mt2 file if you don't want your startup module anymore.
