I realise that some (or most) of you guys in this forum probably never heard about the Roskilde festival. Well, it's one of the biggest music festivals in Europe (well over 100k people). It's held in Denmark between June 29th and July 2nd with warm-up from June 25th. The bandlist this year is quite impressive (although it always is). There's something for every taste. Check it out here.
I've been there three years in a row and had the time of my life. I was just wondering if there's anyone else in here besides me who's going there this year? Could be fun to meet up. |

The roskilde festival is an event in itself, and im pretty sure that everyone would have a good time there. It is a very friendly festival with a very positve atmosphere. all profitt that the festival makes goes to charity (youth). The organizers are really commited to trying to make it the best possible festival for the audience, its not about making a money of the kids - but all about making a positive event for all who whises to participate. Also they have been known to discover good bands at an early stage in their career.
Maybe its not for the youngest people around here, though. |
