I don't think this tune is much worse than much of the other crap reaching to the hitlists. What ppl tend to hate is that he's only an amatuer sitting with his home computer..
Cheer up, ppl, be happy for someone who's actually got an idea that's selling. Instead of being jealous, make some music yourself
Please note that I don't think this tune is good, it's just that it's not that crappy that it's worth making a deal out of it. The idea is kind of fun too..
And please don't make fun of his handicap.. That's just .. gross..

lets put it this way. I'm 10 times more frustrated on the people who listen to it just because it plays on the radio. most people don't know what the song is about to begin with. overall just upset on humans music taste maybe. and yea yea who is to say I have good music taste... well at least I'm doing an effort trying to find music from other places except the charts and the radio... |

Funny cool eurodance, I personnally like it's catchiness - it will be no surprise for those who know me - Of course, if I hadn't been able to read the average quality of the lyrics and could have had it all in Swedish or in any language I do not understand it wouldn't have been worse !
Gives me some reason to touch up our "Sur mon blog" (On my blog) song which will probably become Maryleen's second single (in it's touched up version), as there has been no Blogmania song yet (atleast, I know none that has hit France)
I just think his car is a bit loosy, but his boat is definitely better than ours
About Cars, I think Maryleen Bay's got a cooler one in her videoclip
Watch it here!
Besides this, if that "Boten Anna" and it's musical style works that well in Sweden, and according to what the mainstream radio feedback says about our production, I have serious hopes that Maryleen's black car will soon be aside of Basshunter's yellow buggy in the Swedish charts too
BTW, what about the following song title : "Pretty enough for radio airplay". Sounds stupid, isn't it ? How could the singer's beauty / lack of beauty have an incidence on his radio airplay as long as on one sees him/her ? But believe me, it's the 1st question mainstream radios ask when they hear commercial music from an artist they do not know : "Is she pretty enough for radio airplay ?" |

I prefer a desktop computer doing the music he likes - Eurodance in his case - rather than purely marketing products that are just ordered by the major companies, things like Crazy Frog, Pinocchio, Pigloo, Bébé Lily,...

Is his handicap for real ? Because Tourrette people usually are very closed on themselves and not interested in anything that has to do with clubs & dance music.
I may be wrong, and if I am I present my apologies to Basshunter, but I wonder if this Tourrette thing isn't a marketing trick his label found to explain the mainstream audiance why he does his music on his computer and not in "regular" studios like more classical ("Old fashioned" ?) musicians do it.
In other words, wouldn't the same label ask us ALL to claim we were suffering from Tourrette disease just because of the way we're doing our music ?
Once again, I may be wrong, but I know this world too much to believe this is the truth and not to guess the commercial artefact behind it (especially since our national TV also wanted to launch the career of an artist - he was a painter - based on the simple fact that he had the Tourrette disease). |

Do you know him ?
I forwarded the link to his videoclip to Maryleen. So in case you know him, you can tell him a beautiful french girl
Is more than OK for a duet track with him !
She'll add a link to his offical website on her own one (www.maryleenbay.com) tonight.
I made her listen to his "Boten Anna" and she liked it a lot.
[EDIT] : Link already updated !!!
And forward him our congrats for his #1 rank in the Danish charts (haven't checked the other scandinavian charts yet) |

Yes, same for me. He could just have a bit more self-distance to himself...
But it is a catchy tune! |
