From a usability perspective the background is perhaps a bit too bright / noisy. It makes the white text a bit hard to read. I'd recommend going a bit darker with the background. Otherwise a nice site |

i like the site, where did you get the guestbook? or did you make it yourself?
only gripe is the english language flag is american, but we invented the language (england that is) surely it should be a union jack?  |

@ Sunbuster: Hmmm you thik it´s too bright? Maybe but I didnt have any problems or complaints reading the text so far. I´ll tell it to my pal though, who made that site for me.

@ andy: I don´t know...it´s a free guestbook.
I had SPAM-Problems for some time, so I guess a guestbook which you have to pay for is better protected.
And yeah, you are right about the US flag. I thought so too...imma tell him to change it. |

well, maybe not bright as such, but in my eyes the background works sort of like a camouflage on the text. In other words, it breaks the outlines of the font and that makes it hard to read. Another suggestion would be to have a solid background in the textboxes and leave the main background as it is now. (After all, there are shadows around the boxes in some places already. ) That would make the text easier to read and the site look a bit deeper visually. |
