hey fellow trackers! Help me please!
Shit, i have athlon 2500, today i had a problem with comp start... i push power and screen was black... nothing... i turned it off and turn on again... it started, but it shows athlon 1250 when system is loading... whats going on? |

Check your computer bios. I think FSB is now wrong.
If it is new Athlon Barton model: correct FSB = 166 Mhz.
If not: correct FSB = 133 Mhz. |

thanx, i checked bios, i set it up correct, i dont kow why these settings was different then in the past :/ why it chenged ? i didnt make any changes in bios :/
edit: i have athlon 2000+ but it doesnt matter... i needed to set 133 mhz instead 100 mhz... |

System might have become unstable, and some boards tend to clock themselves back to factory defaults as a safety-procedure against the results of too high overclocking. If you only changed your fsb to 133, and didn't overclock anything or changed any settings of which you don't know what they do, then the problem probably won't occur again in the future. If so, consider getting a new battery for your cmos, since it is responsible for remembering your bios settings.
