For several years now, my friend David and I have been making simple beats for the kids in our Child Care/After School program to rap over as a fun musical activity that kids can take home and listen to. We've been gaining attention recently, and I just want to let you guys know that MadTracker has always been a part of the beat making process. I can use tons of other programs to compose, but for beats, I think that MadTracker is tops.
thanks,
-joe

We only do one a year, and we come up with something simple ourselves that is easy for the kids to rhyme over. It's really for the kids and the opportunity to work with them and show parents how much fun we have! ...so we don't really accept beats from others!
But I'm mad excited about the upcoming 2007 joint cause the beat is so bonkers! ...and rumor has it that The Go! Team is asking to collaborate with us. I wonder how that is gonna work!?
I'm sure some of you are thinking, "these beats suck!" but it's gotta be simple rhythms for the kids to rhyme over. |

I wonder why you said that....
This community here is very honest and gives feedback to tracks which are not even their cup of tea.
I heard it yesterday...the beats are good.
I like the idea too.
Its good to distract the kids from that gangsta rap shit...
Keep it up! |

Pitchfork and The Go! Team? You must be doing a great job or having the best PR person in the world behind you.
Anyway: stunning initiative and good luck with the future! |
