Anyone test Madtracker on macbookpro yet? Is it fast enough? I am thinking of buying one just to run madtracker on it.. (No, I will not but a pc:) So it is essential it is fast enough to run it under bootcamp windows.

Thanks for your help

Seriously, I will never go back there again! I´m done fixing the wretched machines and not composing.

Please just help me out here, is it fast enough or not?

well, yes they certainley are, specs for madtracker aren't that high so Smile

Problem is, that if you load a bunch of VSTi/e no computer will be fast enough

hmmm...okay the MAcBook Pro runs on a 2.16GHz or 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo proc... think that will be fast enough to run MT2.
Whey! what the hell it ran just fine on my PII 266mhz Smile
It all depends on how mutch VST's you are going to use.
This is more a question posted some weeks ago:"How fast does mij new PC need to be..." the answer is never fast enough yust as with your Mac...

You will allways hit the roof limit of possibility's to run the program...it's more a question of "how to overcome them" Smile

Hey, thanks for the help guys! I won´t need madtracker for vst´s at all. I´m using Cubase for the rest:) But I´ve never come across an app close enough to protracker and digibooster for those of you that remember:D Finally I can use Madtracker again:D Yoooohoooo:DVery Happy
