Synth1 is great. In fact it's about the only VSTi I ever use.

offtopic Guys, guys... Please try Asynth from smartelectronix as well. Way better filters and oscs than Synth1. Btw, if ya like synth1, and want to go hardware, buy a nordlead /offtopic bigandy: thanks for sharing. i don't use softies a lot, but the presets are ok.

ASynth? Meh. Not as functional as Synth1. Some other good VSTs are Minimogue VA, Arppe2600 VA and Superwave P8. (and z3ta+... if I ever get the full version.) I got Synth1 presets: http://daprometheus3.googlepages.com/synth1vstipresets
