Audacity is good. It's also free and very versatile. You could also use Kristal, but it's a bit quirky. Goldwave is free as crippleware (you are limited in use unless you pay for it) but some swear by it. |

This is a matter of taste I'd say. Adobe Audition imo does a good job if you don't mind paying. Pro Tools is another option... |

it is dificult because i am looking program for vista compatible.i used to work with adobe but now i cant.i will buy some pro stuff so please tell me what to buy.thx |

Adobe Audition is Vista compatible. I have no problem using it. I have Vista 32 bit though, I don't know if you do too? |
