that winamp plugin is pretty outdated by now, it had some issues with routing and such so i think there'll be no 'official' plugin for osx in the near-future - unless you are willing to write it Smile

To be honest, since the introduction of VST's in MT, I'm thinking MT2 as a playback format is dead. To reach a winder audience the producer is much better off making ogg's/mp3's of their tracks, since you can't expect people to have every VST or to be willing to download them for that matter.

Sad but true.

This makes it more difficult for the new users. I learned most everything from the music page.

Me too.

The music forum seems to have taken over more or less everything from the Music page. At least I haven't checked the music page in ages, but go through the music forum almost daily. Perhaps a good policy to try to implement would be for artists to give a link to the mt2 source also in the music forum when a song is completed (or give it if it's requested). Then people who want to learn could download the source and others could just listen to the mp3/ogg.

forget VST's
it's all about sampling when you are using a tracker.

save the VST's to sample from.

SHHHHH! Don't let some of the peeps in here hear that! They think VSTs are the total end, and anyone who uses only wavs is the lamest of lame.

thanks for that Psalm 97 i'll remember that.
but seriously all you goty\ta do is export one pattern and then put it back in as a wav. then the newbe's would be fine. that's why every one has "learned evertthing fro mthe music page" not from the mp3's or ogg's.

check it!lastfmbebokoblo is the best!!!]
