Posted: Mon Dec 10 2007 19:07 Using Madtracker as Keyboard-Pattern??? |
 |
Hi there!
My question/idea is the following.
I bought an keyboard wich patterns are very bad.
The patterns are like this:
Intro/Seq1A[small/large]/Seq1B[smll/large]/fillin/break/outro
Is there a way to make patterns with madtracker and control these madtracker-patterns with my keyboard?
iE:
Pressing any key on the keyboard starts pattern 1 of madtracker.
Pressing an other key on the kayb is for another pattern in mt..
So i could use my sample library and madtracker to have my own created patterns in HighQuality- controled by my midi-keyboard.
Nice Idea ? Or is it possible, now ?
Sorry for bad english .
Greets to all musicans,
Dennis

Hi!
As far as I know it is not possible yet, but It would be an interesting option. Actually using an external midi keyboard you can control song parameters like: start, stop and record. To get what you described there need to be a component that matches your keyboard keys to madtrackers patterns. I am not sure if such a component exists in Madtracker. Such a component should be able to treat the midi-information sent by your keyboard in two different ways. Note based and pattern-based. Interesting Idea though.

Yes.
And there should be an option that plays the sound in the right tone/octave... Also a achord-matcher must be in there.
okay- thank you! |
