IT Qxx effect for drum rolls

Hey

You can also use the IT Qxx effect command: This commands retriggers the sample (snare) for xx values, creting the rollin effect youre looking for. I always use Q03, but you can try different values, of course.

Ex.

C-4 01 .. .. .. ....
... .. .. .. .. ....
C-4 01 .. .. 10 .Q03
C-4 01 .. .. .. ....

(The effect no# 10 - specifies that it is a Impulse Tracker effect.)

Good luck!

Why not try madtrackers own retrig? The command is Rxx.

Ex.

C-4 01 .. .. .. ....
... .. .. .. .. ....
C-4 01 .. .. .. .R03
C-4 01 .. .. .. ....

Works just as good or better...

Which gives the ultimate Aphex Twin sound on snaredrums. Try it...you'll love it in times of complete musical chaos.
