Does everyone here name their patterns on mt2.
I find that when I do the music in the pattern reflects
the name I have given it. This way I can invoke the energies
of the music for the pattern.
Just like I could name the song to invoke the energies of
the music for the whole song. Does anyone else use subtle
ways to inspire themselves or is it just me? |

I did. but just in songs where I needed to know when which part began. at the moment I don't do it. the longer I work on song the better I know the place where which part begins.
but it is really handy actually to name a pattern in which a certain part begins or a new instrument comes up. stuff like that |

Damn, I dont even name my Instruments lol...but I am able to find my way anyway.
But I should start doing that.
I remember when I sent an MT file of my songs to Franky van Uden.
Wanted him to help me out with mastering.
He gave up on it cause too many tracks, too many instruments and everything unnamed . |

I name the instruments as well. But I type stuff like tea party guitar and queensryche bass. So I get a feel for the types of music by those bands.
Its dumb I know.
I like franklin von udens song fascinating teritorium. But I haven't found any of his other stuff just like it.
Does he use madtracker for all his stuff? |
