Hi
I've been thinking of buying EZdrummer but first I want to make sure that it works with MadTracker 2 (it's pretty expensive you know). So, has anyone tried? |

Yes, works fine!
Check out OneUp - Haunted House on this page: http://compo.thasauce.net/rounds/view/PRC120
The drums are made by EZdrummer with the Drums from Hell-patch.
Only problem is that you can't use the built-in loops in an easy way, because they are midifiles...
Also you can't EQ each drumsound without open several EZDrummer VSTs. |

Nice track!
Problems you mentioned don't matter much to me as I'd rather make drums from scratch than use loops anyway
Also, I have already somewhat got used to open the same file several times as I had to do so to access more than one instrument in a soundfont
Thanks a lot!! |

I've got EZ Drummer.. an nice little pluggy.
One problem I've bumped in to was that Madtracker refuses to save the settings you make in EZ Drummer.. I've also tried to save the settings in a preferences file (or what it's called), but that does not work either .. so it's kind of useless to use it in MT2 I'm afraid, if you don't want to manually tune the settings every time you load a module with EZD in..
.. or if you just make lines and wave export them directly before loading another module/closing MT2 ..
I think I made a topic about this when EZD was new.. Let's look

Hmm... I guess it won't work with Kristal at all either. So I'll have to do some serious re-thinking...
Thank you very much |
