Stereo in old mods

I was playing some oldskool mods I found with MT2.
However, I remember every track in those old mods had their own channel. So track 00 was left, track 01 right, track 02 left, etc..
Playing this in MT2, everything is played on both channels.
Is there an easy way to play these old modules in stereo?

To make a long story short, no, there's no easy way doing this, since the mixer don't have any panning knobs.

You could however edit these modules manually by setting the pan columns in the tracks to left most and right most..

Code:

Example:
--- - -- -- ----
C-3 1 -- FF ----

.. C-3 is on the note column, 1 is on the instrument number column, and FF is on the panning column, where FF means that the track is panned right most.

00 is left most, 80 is in the middle, and FF is right most.

If each track has its own instrument you may change the panning in the instrument settings. Of course thats not really THE way to get that stereo effect you know from old amiga days but at least its one way Wink.

Yeah, that's another way, but often samples are used on both left and right channels..

Have you checked out Stone Oakvalley's Amiga Music Collection btw?
