Hi, I just started using Madtracker and its really great and easy to learn, and I have never used a tracker before this,
but I followed the quick start tutorial and It really went much better than I expected.
Anyhow, I started making my first song and everything was great. Found this awesome VTSi making retro sounds(what are they called) so I decided to go for a bitpop(?) kinda feel.
But now Ive run into a problem.

Theres my song.
Now If you look at the melody pattern in the last sequence you will notice there is none 
And thats my problem, I tried to Transpose the melody from the sequence before that one but It just doesn't sound right.
Are there some rule for transposing a melody such as it still sounds pleasing without just going up a whole octave or am I stuck and have to go with a different melody?
