Posted: Mon Feb 15 2010 00:38 Midi not playing properly |
 |
Hi I'm really new to Madtracker, and I downloaded the program. It came with a bunch of amazing sample songs, and I wanted to put them on my music playlist, so I exported them as a .mid file, but when I play the midis, the song sounds weird, it's only in one instrument (in acoustic piano) and I'm wondering how I can export the fully song to a midi format so it play properly?
Also, anyone know any good midi players that allow you to play more than one midi file in a row? So the songs keep playing as opposed to me having to change the song each time it finishes.
Thank you. |

A far as i know the midi export is for simpler songs and all though you could - in theory - spend time and try to assign instruments that sound like the ones in the song - its not gonna work.
The free (unregistered) version of Madtracker allows for OGG export, which most decent players can play - so I guess that is your best chance to get the songs you like to another player.
there was a plugin for winamp, but I`m not sure if it supported the latest version of MT, maybe someone else remembers...?

There are several music format changers out there as well, when I had it on the free version, I exported to ogg, then changed it to mp3... |
I reject your reality and substitute my own! |
