problem with MT using Win7? |

Hi all,
MT crashes frequently on me after installing it on a new WIN 7 system. Seems like its related to the cleaning of VST. I have tried rescanning the VST, but it doesnt seem to help much. It often occurs if i want to load a different song while playing another. Anyone else experience this?

Strange, I'm also using MT on Win7 (x64), but haven't had any problems as you describe. Although, I think once, right after MT installation, when I copied all my VST's into MT's VST folder, it crashed, when scanning for new VST's. I believe it was Superwave P8 at which it crashed. But when I restarted MT, it was all good.
Seems like it's related to some specific VST you have installed? Maybe try removing them one by one and check every time if it still crashes?
You could also try some of the compatibility options Win7 has. Or maybe run it as Administrator? |

Thanks for tips, I`m running the 32 version, and it doesnt seem related to on specific vst. I`ll try to reinstall, and have a look at compatibility options if the problem persist. Nice to know that it is no a general problem with MT under Win 7.
