crash when trying to save [fixed ... for now] |

... ok, this is new. been using MT2 on windows 7 since i got the laptop in december. no issues. none. made a couple tracks and had no problems saving.
all of a sudden, i go to save my work, and MT2 crashes and closes.
tried a couple different ways. thought maybe it was the vst's i had loaded. even if i try to save a blank new track, it crashes. tried the "save" and "save as" options in the file menu, as well as the "save" button ... all with the same result.
any ideas? not sure if this would be a bug, or if it's an issue with my system. i did recently install ModPlug Tracker ... but i've saved stuff since.
running a toshiba satellite C655 with an i3 intel processor and windows 7
... you guys are gods, and i know i can get help. i'm really lost for what is going on here ... |

... ok ... after leaving the computer off all day, i turn it on tonight and it seems to be working properly now. no idea what i did wrong.
my best bet is that i was probably doing too many things at once (MT2, skype, MSN messenger, and google chrome) and the computer just decided to say "wtf? i don't have to take this crap".
thanks guys for reading and knocking your heads for me. if it happens again, i'll be sure to bring it up again |
