I have the pro version, but even before i bought it, this was happening. When I create a new song and save it, it shows a lock icon on the song file instead of just a regular MT2 file. Is there a file I need to download, or am I saving it wrong, or what?

are you using windows7? i've seen this a lot on win7 *shakes fist at microsoft* Brick wall

basically, it needs to be given "privileges" because some reason it doesn't recognize the fact that you're the admin.

doesn't happen just in madtracker. i've had it happen in audacity too.

try searching for them in windows explorer. they may still be there, but for some reason you can't see them in madtracker. right click on it when you find them, and "open with", select program, and find madtracker.

i'm still learning about windows7. i'm on a new laptop, and if i could have gotten XP, i would have

hope this helps

I just ended up doing my best to re-write most of my songs, I didn't want to keep them all anyway, lol. Thanks though.
