 |
Hi
I've been considering installing the Debian Linux distribution on my PC for quite some time now, but I've been restrained by the fact that MadTracker won't run in Linux.
But then I read another thread here in this forum, stating that MadTracker actually DOES work in Linux combined with Wine (I think). But I have now idea what Wine is, so I was wondering if anybody could write me a quick guide to getting Wine to work and MadTracker run under it. I'm very much a Linux-newbie, but I really want to use it, especially since I found out that it CAN run MT
Thanx in advance |

I wouldn't install Linux as the only operating system.
Then again I wouldn't really install it personally at all. |

Thanks for the help vfgdfg.
Under Debian I think that a "apt-get wine" or something like that will work. You must have a package manager as an X application don't you?
Note that MT needs a small fix in order to load MT2 files without crashing. I'll do my best to release that version ASAP.
