So I heard that we are not having CMC Mad October because lack of entries?? I put a lot of work to my entry, so thank you people for the pancakes.

Yes deadline is on saturday so start posting!
Post something old if neccessary since there's not very much time really to start composing anything new anymore. |

Gah, I didn't mean that old
Also I'm not preventing you to compose something new, I just suggested. Actually, I don't recall a mention in the rules that the song would have to be previously unreleased (which feels bit weird to me), so you could just put your latest release or something.. |

You are correct. Entries to CMC do NOT have to be exclusive. You could theoretically enter a song that has been listed on every archive and competed in every compo in the history of the scene. I wouldn't suggest it, mind you, but it wouldn't be against the rules. |

Well, that didn't last long. I actually thought I saw 7 entries entered for october so I'm not sure how that was not enough?
Due to my not good enough english skills I dunno what "sub-par crop of entries for October" means really.
Oh well... |

The sub-par ones are those which are not good enough to compete.. I hope yours isn't listed there |

but rules are rules and they still say no mt2 format as of yet, so i gave up in a hurry. whats the point of this compo here if the rules bluntly tell you, no mt2 on an mt2 fourm.. so lost and confused. but anyway other then that Im go for this compo thing.
thanks

uuh, in case you missed it, CMC MAD compo has been tested and ended already. The reason for this: simply because there wasn't enough interest from the MT2 community There will be no madtracker version of CMC, at least not for a while. |
