Actually I felt sorry for the floppy drives, and most dumbasses who clicked that they like it, does not have really a clue whats about it actually...
But as you are quite in hardware too perhaps why not try
next things...
... use floppy disks as decent _analog_ magnetic media tape
recorders (1.44MB can be in this case ca 2 minutes audio).
... and if you get the voice on covox with amplifier (which is only LPT powered!), then I applaud too. 
That last one is quite fun, while the first one is more challenging.
So far I have made covox things and have hardware synths with tracker programs (FT2 included in this play list).
Actually there is much more hardware projects for tracker. |
