A few tips, maybe:

firstly, maybe you should post the url in the message, so there's no need to look for it in your profile, or in the madtracker.net-list..

secondly, how the hell do I turn off the tune in the background when the site is present? Quite annoying that I have to close the explorer-window to be able to listen to a tune of your without interference of the background tune Smile

nice work otherwise! Listening to your album right now, full programmable memory, .. a bit too "random" for me, but otherwise, nice work with the atmosphere and the production of it.

Regards
/Daniel

First of: I gotta check your music. Referring to drum 'n bass, breakbeat and Warp does miracles in my brain Smile

Second: is there any chance that you add a text-based link to the mp3's? Bloody quicktime keeps stealing file association for mp3's, resulting in cache-loaded mp3's instead of a download screen. Since I want to listen music at the moment I want to listen it, I prefer downloading over realtime listening. Furthermore, I clear my cache every day, so things tend to get lost that way. Do all quicktimers a favour, and add a text-based link.

Third: for this moment, I'll get the files from my Firebird cache. Sigh. Will post back once I have listened some songs.

Kind regards,
Inge

Beste Inge,

In my mp3 section, there's a html-button now, so u can down it in html also. If u have quicktime pro, there's a way to download tracks from the qtime player (right mouseclick, save target as).

The scaling of the new html window is a bit of a problem for me,
I would like to set it at 400*300 pix but dunno how in flash...

Annyway: Hope that u like my "broken-beats" Rolling Eyes

Hope to hear from u soon Exclamation

Hey prinsW,

I really like "Goed dat er politie is", nice Lo-Fi sounds, sounds a bit like 'Brainpower'. Does 'Acht mm' have a website?

Cheers

Dag monarchistW Wink,

I've listened your songs multiple times, but they are a bit too much Drukqs/Squarepusher alike for my personal taste. I strongly vote for the analogue relaxation of BOC, Plaid, Bonobo, old Aphex Twin, Autechre work. Even though this minor difference in taste, you certainly know how to program some twisted beats in contrast to slowly progressing melodies. I will try to review your song in the music section next week. It's interesting to hear and read that you've been doing these things live. In the end, nothing beats goo' ol' fashioned twisted Bogdan live beatprogramming chaos...does it take much lsd to do these things? Very Happy

Slowing down,
Inge

Hello BigMo.

I guess i've put ur message in private...oops
But for everyone else: here are the urls once more:
Http://fly.to/achtmm old site, lot of banners
Http://www.achtmm.cx new site of MC Remon
Http://www.remondejong.com site with the flyer to achtmm gig

Thanx for ur interest in 8mm!

And hello Inge too,

Thanx for ur kind words. I can imagine my music is a bit of a brainshaker sometimes....But this problem is also solved a bit maybe... I've addet some older jungle/dnb tracks to the list of my mp3's also, u can find it under mp3, album: mama, it's from 1998. Maybe that's more a bit "a cup of ur tea" P:
I'd like to thank u in advance for reviewing my track(s)/style(s). I listen to ur tracks also and i must say that i like ur beats and ur style of drum and bass. Maybe i shall revieuw a track of urs too...once...Razz. What i do in live shows is somewhat else then my beats. Somethimes I use a beat, but usually soundskapes and noises, with ft2 on my laptop. Http://www.wepsite.net/fbs is the homepage of the feedback society, so u can get an impression of that too..

like to hear from you all soon,

greetz: prinsW!

Hoi PrinsW,

I checked out the sites, especially the old achtmm site. I read all the lyrics, they're great, and I'm eagerly waiting for you to upload some more 8mm songs, and if you agree to share them, the source files (.xm)!

I'm still running FT2 too, on a 386 DX computer with 25 MHz! Wink Just can't say goodbye...

Greets

Hallo BigMo,

Cool to hear you like achtmm!

I've uploaded 2 more old 8mm tracks(mp3, 80kbp/s 2200hz stereo) at:

http://www.wepsite.net/prinsw/mp3/Achtmm%20-%20Achtmm%20introduceren.mp3

and

http://www.wepsite.net/prinsw/mp3/Achtmm%20-%20Funky%20fris.mp3

These tracks cannot be placed at mad (webspace=full), so therefore I cannot say for howlong they will be up...

If these links seem to be stable enough, I'll put that links onto my website also, maybe under an "achtmm" button.

This music dates from 97/98 I'm looking for my original tracks, but that was like 4 generations of computers back, where writing a ceedee was a luxery<for me>. There's a big maybe, that there are still some tracks in xm left at the studio, I'll ask for it.. Then if I'll find the xm sourcecode, i have to find a (free) webadres where xm's are accepted for uploading.(my wepsite.net account does accept mp3's not bigger then 2mb, but no xm's). Nice adres btw (www.wepsite.net) you get 250MB free space!!!!!

Hope you'll like these tracks too,

Greetings: prinsW
