...and I'm not talking about kinky clothes
This piece is simply too good to be a priviledge to those that heard it live and those that got to see the TV coverage. You won't find it on a CD or similar, and that's also why I decided to put it up here for more people to enjoy So I hereby present you with:
Rinneradio feat. Siiri Nordin - Live at Koneisto 2003 (about 7.2 MB)
A lush, jazzy electronica piece that simply makes you all warm inside, was played first and only here in Helsinki at Koneisto 2003, Scandinavias largest festival for electronic music. Recorded from the TV coverage that YLE 1 aired later on.

Where do these guys come from? Finland?
The only electronic musician from Finland I know is Jori Hulkkonnen (or was it Norway?!).
Would be cool to see/hear more here from the scandinavian music scene... Thumbs up!! |

I don't know if you know them but there is a scandinavian act that realy rocks, in a funky way...
There called 'Ugress', and realy I'ts a must listen.
It's not what you'd normaly suspect from a scandinavian dance act, it's not realy trancy anyway, and it doesn't contain much 'wierd synths' either. It's just very enjoyable music that does very well with the lady's
Check out the track 'loungemeister' and you'll know what I mean.

Ugress: St Germain meets RJD2 meets Propellerheads. Groovy, but far from original.

isn't that originality in itself though? they're not any of those acts alone, but create a sound that combines similar sounds to those acts, yet not exactly that..
sounds original!

Well, uh, yes. As original as the hybrid of Britney, Christina and J.lo. When will someone mix Atari Teenage Riot, Vivaldi and Dimmu Borgir together? (just had to use that emoticon once )
