anyone know how i can clear all effects at one shot ? its getting tedious to do it one by one using the delete key...
i need all effects wiped out to start from scratch. |

For the whole song or patern. Either way as long as i can get them all out and start over. Made a miscalculation on panning and i didnt realize that until i put some headsets on... ACK! |

Well, you shouldn't have to delete the whole of the effects data. Rather, just make alterations.
And, you could always hold down the delete key on the panning column if that's what it comes to. Much easier |

afaik there is no way of deleting just the effects column in a channel or pattern (one of the few weaknesses of madtracker imo). You'll have to either delete the effects using the delete button or just make alterations like Lollie said. |

Well, these commands should help you then....
Shift + Delete = Kills all data in channel.
Ctrl + Delete = Kills all effects data in channel including volume and panning columns, but leaves notes.
Alt + Delete = Kills only effects data, but leaves notes, volume and panning columns.
These work, wherever your cursor is in the channel.

Nice, guess one learns something new everyday (to read the fucking manual that is) but tell me, what am I doing wrong when it doesn't delete all effects in a channel if I hit alt+delete, only the effect that is at the position where the cursor is |

Ah - You're doing nothing wrong - I didn't explain clearly enough
In fact only the line the cursor is on is deleted - In that channel only. That's what I meant. Of course, if you have "add" set to one line, then you can keep Alt+Delete pressed down for a mass wipeout.
Hope that's cleared that up. |

I knew it had something to do with the delete key
What, were you bored one day and read the entire help file or something? |

I've been tracking too long!
But yes - over the years I've read the whole help file. It really... er.... helps!
I still think it's not complete enough, though - especially explaining the fx column commands. Some are really hard to work out / remember. But they're worth using for some unique stuff. |
