Well, you can do it by using a lower note than the default C4. This slows down the sample (lowers pitch), but also lenghtens it.
Now that I write this, what do you mean exactly by slowing down the sample?
If you want to use the same length but a lower or higher pitch or want to change the length but with the same pitch you need a sound editor like Goldwave.

Please be a bit more precise with the subject of your posts. A subject named 'how' doesn't tell anything about the actual message. A suitable subject in this case is 'how to slow down a sample'.
Also I noticed your 2 posts in the other room. You could use the same thread for it. You don't need to make a new post for each question you have.
Finally: good luck |

I'd love to see a "Delete Post" button.

Sorry for off topic as this belongs in the website room. How come sometimes one can see when and how many times a post is edited and other times it doesn't show any sign? |

Two ways of solving that:
1: use another note so that it corresponds with the bpm of the song you want to place it in. If your loop for instance is 125 bpm, and the song you want to use it in 135 bpm, you need to play the loop faster. The normal speed is achieved with c4, so using a higher note (d4, e4 and so on) will make it play faster (and higher pitched). Finetuning of the actual speed can be done by clicking on the sample in the sample browser (top right), selecting the tab 'general', and changing the fader which says 'pitch' (on the right).
2: load the drumloop, select the instrument it is placed in by doubleclicking on it, doubleclick on the actual sample then, and choose loopmode 'forward'. Then use the sliders to select the complete area (if the loop is really looping; adjust the ending slider so that it creates a seemless loop). After that, go back to the main screen, select the instrument once again by clicking once on it, and click on the green wave left of the instrument browser. Tick 'synchronise' and define the proper amount of beats (1, 2, 4, 8, 16). After that, the sample will *always* be played at the correct pitch, because the samplespeed will be adjusted according to the songspeed.
Good luck, especially with the latter one; it might be quite incomprehensible if your new to this type of producing
