I can't open my mixer window anymore
I've tried:
Pressing F11,
Clicking on the mixer icon and clicking on Mixer in the
dropdown Window list!
I've even tried re-installing Madtracker again !!!

This is a funny one. Do the following:
edit -> configuration -> tab 'general' -> 'windows configuration' -> tick 'mixer' -> twice 'ok'. The mixer should now (or after restarting MadTracker) be visible again.
Kind regards,

And if you unclick all other options? Make sure mixer is the only window ticked, and try again.
Otherwise, something *very* odd is happening. Never heard of components not functioning at all.

Not the first time this happens to someone. But I can't recall the solution...
Maybe the window is somewhere outside the screen. AVALON, have you ever played with the registry editor? If so I may have a solution for you.

That just maybe it!!!
I played a Mod. from the music section the other day that had like 30 tracks or something.
I expanded the Mixer until the last Track was visible.
When restarting Madtracker the Mixer returns to 15 tracks.(right?)
At the time Track 15 was not on the screen.
But when i minimize madtracker i also minimize the Mixer,
So any Solutions ??? |

Temporal dual screen setup?
Yes, I do have an idea: I don't know what your current screen resolution is, but probably it is lower than the maximum resolution your videocard and monitor can handle. Try increasing one step (for instance from 1024/768 to 1200/800), and see if you can grab the mixer back. If one step doesn't do the job, go one size bigger.
Note: do put your refresh rate during this proces at 60 hz. Higher values might results in an 'out of width' display from your monitor.
Interested in the result of this

Nope! that didn't do the trick either...
When i press F 11 (Mixer) its like clicking outside of madtracker.
Window goes from dark blue to light blue....
(maybe i'll just format my PC and install windows again)

That would be stupid!
- Close MadTracker
- Pop up the start menu and click on "execute"
- Type "regedit" then hit enter
- go to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Madhouse\MadTracker key
- Delete the "Windows" value on the right
- Open MadTracker

That's what I thought then: the mixer got out of the screen bounds for some reason.

This happens to me if i've watched a divx on my TV. I had to turn on the dualscreen to find the mixer, and some of the other windows as well. |
