Wow, I must tell you all MT2.5 Rocks!
This tune was made while testing the new possabilities of VST stuff.
It has not been treated in another program, just exported straight from madtracker :

tnx!
The vst's I used :
Iblit for the main synth line
Korg MS20 remake for the LFO sweeps
Korg Poly6 remake for the trancy pad/lead
And a compressor FX for the drums/bassline
the bassline itself and all the drums/hits/other FX's
are all samples
The speech is Lenin saying something about the dawn of communism, not that I mean anything by it, it just fitted the whole sovjet theme

This is great! This speech kinda gave me some sort of goosebumps. I was trying to understand what he was saying, but no wonder I couldn't get a word of it...
Do you know where I could get some speeches like these? Speeches from Fidel, Lenin or Martin Luther King would be great to sample from... |

The site has this translation :
"Today, the workers who have remained loyal to the cause of throwing off the yoke of capitalism call themselves Communists. All over the world the association of Communists is growing. In a number of countries Soviet power has already triumphed. Soon we shall see the victory of communism throughout the world; we shall see the foundation of the World Federative Republic of Soviets. "
It was recorded in 1919...
I alway's like to use speeches and stuff, it add's something.
I'm still in search for some UFO sightings / Roswell Radio recordings or other audio files in ( good ) quality, does anyone know where to find those? |

Arkham: your link has been added to the samplesites archive.
Qbical: isn't Sovjet the first MT2.5 release ever? Maybe it will be included in the annals ("...whereas the famous MadTracker user Qbical was the first tracker ever who published a song that was entirely made in the revolutionary version 2.5...")
Still digging this song though. Chain a compressor, dynasone and waves l2 maximizer on the master chainrack to get it mastered on the fly

And what a track: I have yet to hear any track made with FL**** or **NOISE that I have as much pleasure to listen to. As a matter of fact, I've been listening to "Sovjet" this entire afternoon. Kinda reminds me the "good old days", when techno wasn't as "mainstream" as it is today.
MT2.5 rulez! That's a fact! |

I think it's a really cool track, but maybe a bit too long. And the way the synthesizer pumps fat in the break could maybe be used more often during the rest of the song? Nice ending though. Props! |
what is hip?

Hehe, yes inge, this is the first 2.5 release ever
Atleast yannick told me so, it's just that the possabilty to use all those 'vintage' synths is so inspirational. I'm actualy working on at track with some vocoders in it atm
Walter : I think you're right, but I need to check out how it stands out the next time i'm djing, that way I can find passages where the crowd go's wild and passages that are just plain boring
tnx for the feedback guys
grtz!
