Madtracker certainly seems a great tool! I just have a few questions. Why does a tracker require constant internet access? What do legend.esper.net, amity.org, 209.123.232.172 have in common? What information do you pass out from socket 6667? Just curious. As someone who maintains their family network; you can only imagine how edgy that makes me. Heh, great tracker though ~Rog.

Calm down, it's just an irc-client which connects to Madtrackers official irc-channel, #madtracker, at irc.esper.net ..

Yes, these are connections to the IRC chat. You were warned in the License Agreement about them. These connections are enabled by default for the beta. They won't be in the final version anymore. You can disable these connections in the config, the last 3 options. However, checking for updates is recommanded unless you visit the website regularly. Yannick

Of course I did get that annoying MySearch toolbar in IE after installing MT2.5... Nah just kidding, it came with Morpheus. Not recommended btw (the toolbar that is, once MorpheusLite is out without any spyware it will be cool) :p
